Benque Max AI Lab is a research laboratory based in Finland, focused on two key areas: the agent layer on top of LLMs, exploring self-emerging agentic patterns and autonomous behaviors, and the deep technologies powering LLMs, including optimization, tuning, and core infrastructure.
Lead Researcher, Agents
Markus leads research into autonomous agent systems and their emergent behaviors. His work explores the boundaries of agent consciousness, reasoning capabilities, and the development of sophisticated AI systems capable of complex decision-making. With a focus on practical applications and theoretical foundations, Markus investigates how agents can achieve higher levels of autonomy and intelligence.
Markus also works as Head of AI Automation at Hoxhunt. In addition to years of self-emerging agent research, Markus has extensive background in the fields of Finance and Software Development.
Lead Researcher, Deep Technology
Tom specializes in deep technology research, focusing on the infrastructure and systems that enable advanced AI capabilities. His work includes developing novel approaches to local model deployment, optimization techniques, and creating tools that make powerful AI models more accessible. His research bridges the gap between theoretical AI advances and practical, deployable solutions for researchers and developers.
Tom also works in AI and Technology at Inderes and is an active open source contributor. He has particular expertise in media generation and related optimization techniques.
